About This Place

Nicky's Undefeated in Tucker, GA, is a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Philly-style cheesesteaks and hearty American hoagies, expertly crafted with bold flavors and quality ingredients. This gem, nestled at 2316 Main St C, serves up a menu that proudly captures the essence of Philadelphia’s iconic sandwiches while adding its own Southern charm.

When you step into Nicky’s Undefeated, you’re greeted by an inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances casual comfort with an energetic vibe. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a satisfying meal, the focus here is on delivering comfort food that sings with authenticity and freshness.

The highlight undoubtedly is their cheesesteak offerings—the Half Beef Cheesesteak and the Philly Cheese Steak with Peppers and Fries are standout choices. Imagine biting into juicy, thinly sliced steak, generously melted Cooper sharp cheese blending into each savory morsel, and all nestled in a fresh, crusty Liscio’s roll that’s praised by customers as some of the best around. The texture of the roll, crisp on the outside yet soft within, perfectly complements the warm, flavorful filling, making each bite a delicious symphony of taste and texture.

For those craving something a little different, Nicky’s also serves up the Italian Hoagie done the “Philly Philly Way”—shredded lettuce, sliced onions, tomatoes, oregano, and a drizzle of olive oil and red wine vinegar all combined on fresh rolls. Their hoagies span a spectrum from the savory, meat-filled Turkey & Ham Hoagie to a vibrant Veggie Hoagie with broccoli rabe and roasted red peppers, offering excellent options for every palate.

If wings tempt you, the Garlic Parmesan Wings or Buffalo Wings deliver a punch of rich seasoning and a crisp exterior that keeps you coming back for more. For a shareable appetizer, the Chicken Nachos piled with fried onions, cheese whiz, and Cooper American cheese along with fresh pico de gallo and jalapeños offers a delightful blend of textures and flavors.

Nicky's also impresses with its sandwich cutlet specials like the “Rocky Balboa” whole 12” roll loaded with chicken parm, mozzarella, parmesan, and marinara sauce—comfort food elevated to new heights. Meanwhile, the “Nick Foles” half 6” roll features tender hand-pounded chicken breast with a sharp bite from broccoli rabe and roasted red peppers kissed by balsamic glaze, creating a beautifully balanced flavor profile.

Patrons consistently praise the freshness and heartiness of the dishes. One loyal customer, Nafis Zahir, calls it "Absolutely the best cheesesteak in the ATL" and commends the freshness and perfect cheese melt that makes the meat sing without extra condiments. Dominique Sottile highlights the authentic taste of home, calling it “a bite straight out of Philly,” celebrating the genuine vibe and deliciousness they found here. And while some like Imani note that the chicken cheesesteak deviates slightly from Philly tradition (big chunks rather than chopped), the overall quality and flavor keep patrons returning.

Dining at Nicky’s Undefeated feels like a heartfelt nod to Philly’s culinary heritage, perfectly adapted and warmly embraced by the Atlanta area. Whether it’s the smell of sizzling steak mingling with melted cheese or the satisfying crunch of the roll, this restaurant crafts experiences that go beyond just food—they evoke memories, comfort, and joy.

If you find yourself in Tucker, take a moment to indulge in Nicky’s generous portions and authentic flavors. Their commitment to quality, combined with a passionate approach to classic Philly fare, makes this spot not only a local favorite but an unbeatable choice for anyone craving real cheesesteak bliss.

Absolutely the best cheesesteak in the ATL! Between Philly and Atlanta, this is #2 on my list with a 9.5 / 10 rating! Excellent Liscio’s roll and they give you a pretty good amount of some of the best steak meat I’ve ever had. It was fresh, hot and flavorful without any condiments being added to it. The cooper sharp cheese was melted and mixed into the meat so that you could taste it with every bite. Yes, that is water ice that you see! I highly recommend that you check this place out.

I grew up in Philly and New York, when I moved to Georgia I never thought I would find a taste of home down here. But that’s exactly what this place is. A bite straight out of Philly. The people are great, the vibe is amazing, the food is delicious. You won’t regret trying this place, unless you have no taste, then I can’t help you.

The food was great! Probably the closest thing you’ll get to a real Philly cheesesteak and authentic water ice. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken cheesesteak though — they use big chunks of chicken instead of chopping it up like in Philly. The pizza was okay, nothing special.

The owner said they had to reorganize their marketing team and when they did they got several bad reviews. This is the second time I’ve had their sandwich and it’s the best cheesesteak I’ve found and I’ve been all over Atlanta. It beats Dave’s, Fred’s Meat and Bread and Woody’s. I used to frequent Philly and I would put this sandwich easily as one of the best I’ve ever had. If you come in they have big tvs and beer selection. I will be back. It’s great. The picture doesn’t do it justice this sandwich is FAT and the old bay fries are crispy crinkle cut and fantastic. I have already told my friends.

Ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a Philly. The pizza was great and the Philly was okay. I paid $34 including the pizza, Philly, fries and 1 drink. I wish it was more seasoned and had some green peppers in it! The quality of the meat was great and the service was good too. Meat needs a little more flavor, but it was a lot of food and my kids liked it.

I was born in Philly and raised 15 minutes from center city. I moved to Tucker about 3 years ago. I cannot believe that I didn’t discover this place before. I got the overwhelming feeling “I am home”. There was a mini statue on the bar that was the same as the one in love park, the Christmas tree was a mini version of the one in Rittenhouse Square, Eagles all over the place. They had the pendants from the university where Dad went on the went, and the university my brother and sister in law went to, and the universities that I went too on the wall. The food? OMG the food. It was not a Philly style cheesesteak. It WAS a Philly cheesesteak. OMG. It was wonderful. The fries were the same style as the ones from home that I liked with cheese. The Philly water ice was the authentic ones from home with the same flavors. It was so smooth with no ice-chunks Thank you for bringing me back home.

Let’s start w some background- I grew up outside of Philly, so I have had a couple cheesesteaks and hoagies. Walking in - even without the Super Bowl winning Eagles flags, Flyers and Sixers gear it has the feel of a hometown / mom and pop cheesesteak joint. You can see the flattop / grill wit onions and steaks being grilled, the “back” of the house. Back home typically no chairs / booths, get your food and get out. Nicky’s has tables and booths so it has a come in and soak up some Philly. The small bar / counter is a good idea allows for quick seat. Menu is spot on - allows you to order how you want, but also provides some great “suggestions” and yes if you just don’t know - order Founders special. We ordered a small Italian hoagie and small cheesesteak fries (old bay seasoning). Knocked both out of the park. The rolls nice crunch on the outside, soft inside. The steak high quality no gristle, onions grilled not killed. The cooper sharp creamy melted - not so much that the steaks and onions are lost. The hoagie, a solid Italian - decent deli meat, Shredded lettuce, tomato and onions. Plenty of salt pepper and oregano. Next time I’ll get heavy oil and vinegar- I like that bite. We will definitely be back, Nicky’s makes me feel like being back home. Go Birds !

This is the best cheesesteak in Atlanta metro, hands down. Dave’s and Fred’s are both delicious, but this spot takes the tastycake (see what I did there?). I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper sharp and a side of the beef tallow fries. Unbelievably delicious. I can’t wait to try the Italian hoagie and water ice next time. My only suggestion: add a little Iverson paraphernalia to the décor. He’s the king of Philly, after all…
